Today was our outing to the XiangJiang Safari Park. The park was very well-kept - much better than other Asian zoos we've seen. It was HOT, but the highlights were feeding the giraffes and the baby tiger. I'm adding in our official "red couch" picture, taken on one of the many red couches at the White Swan Hotel (Kate was not happy about this one) and the picture of her first ice cream cone.

I bet Thomas was in Tiger Heaven! I have to confess that the Red Couch picture is very cute with all of you smiling and Kate sitting on the floor. Not exactly ideal, but still cute! Cannot wait to see you in a few days!
It looks as though you had lots of fun at the zoo. The baby tiger is adorable. Yep, Kate is not too happy in the red couch setting but looks like she loved her first ice cream cone. Love all the photos and comments, thanks for sharing. Soon your trip will be over and Kate will begin her new life in a strange country. Kate is a lucky little girl.
We loved the safari park - much better than the Guangzhou zoo. The baby white tiger tops it all! No wonder the boys were excited :D
