TJ was doing his schoolwork this morning and started asking about what regions people could adopt orphans from. He knew about Asia, of course. When I mentioned that a lot of families adopt from countries in Africa you could see his little wheels turning.
"Mom, could we ever adopt from Africa?"
"Possibly"
"Good, because then maybe we could have a basketball player."
This teachable moment might have to wait until I can control my fits of laughter.
