Gingerbread Village

Yesterday was TJ's last day in his Gingerbread Village class.  The kids learned math, civics, city planning, art and so much more - and it was so much fun that I'm pretty sure they didn't even realize they were learning anything until it was too late.  ;)  Here are some pics of their finished village.

Conferencing about zoning issues

Sorry, but "Ginger Church" cracked me up.  What other kind of church could one have at a publicly funded school?

Such a lovely, safe community
